Summer Wedding Inspiration - Soft, Pastel Color Palette

Oh the sweet days of summer! We were inspired to create this inspiration board when we came across the gorgeous wedding bouquet created by Kio Kreations

The soft color palette made us think of flowing chiffon gowns in the same colors! We chose styles 7100, 7021 and 7122 (they are all available in many color options!). Chiffon is the perfect summer fabric!

Our bridal gown choice for your summer wedding inspiration is style 8112 from the Essence couture collection. The texturized chiffon, that the gown is made from, creates feather-like flowers -it's so beautiful! And we also love the sweetheart, strapless neckline that sparkles with jewels!

To tie it all together we found some of the most amazing wedding accessories to pair with the bridal gown and maids dresses:

Kate's Wedding Gown: Gorgeous Lace

What an amazing vision it was - seeing Kate Middleton for the first time gave us goose bumps! We were anticipating her gown for so long and it didn't disappoint. She managed to pull off a modern look (deep V-neckline) and yet remain modest at the same time (traditions)! We love lace and it will always be synonymous with weddings. Queen Victoria wore a lace veil on her wedding day in 1840, brides fell in love with the look and copied her. When we issued a sneak peek look at dresses for our Fall 2011 Collection all of our friends and fans loved the look of style 121 from the Bonny Classic Collection.

If you saw any pictures from the recent bridal runway shows you might have noticed that lace was already making a new statement in the Fall 2011 designer collections. Ours is no exception! We have a few gorgeous lace offerings for our brides such as style 1112 from the Unforgettable Collection:

Our Essence collection has a soft, flowing lace covered strapless gown that comes with a little lace caplet (especially handy if your church requires covered shoulders!). We are pleased to offer this sneak peek look at style 8106

Every bride is a princess on her wedding day. We have the best job in the world - designing and making dresses that will make you feel like a princess...thank you for allowing us to share our visions with you!

Real Bride - Janelle

Janelle and Christopher
November 6, 2010

We have been so lucky to have so many brides tell us their story and share their special day with us! Today, we bring you Janelle's story! On November 6th, 2010 she married her husband Christopher. Janelle chose Bonny Bliss style 2011

Janelle shared with us, "One of the most exciting parts of wedding planning was the search for the dress. The very first gown I tried on was a Bonny gown. It took a little while to choose but I finally decided on style 2011 from the Bliss collection. I fell in love with the silk flowers and beading all over the dress and train. It also had a huge skirt that was so much fun to twirl in! It was exciting to find a line of dresses that had sleeves yet remained modern and elegant!"

Your smile that day says it all, Janelle! Congratulations to you both!!!
